Description
David captured this bee on a beautiful pink azalea in East Texas. Interestinly enough, there are nearly 20,000 known species of bees in seven to nine recognized families. They are found on every continent except Antarctica, in every habitat on the planet that contains insect-pollinated flowering plants.

Thank you so much Randy Rosenberger for your wonderful comments on our photograph! My husband actually took this photo. We appreciate the feature in our group Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery. It looks like you have a very well run group there. Thanks for the warm welcome!

Kathy, this is just a beautiful macro floral imagery with its visitor enjoying a different view of the floral! My favorite combo of flower and critter. Very well composed and love the vibrant colors of this piece! Welcome to our family of friends and fine artists here on the Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery group, as it is an honor to have you aboard! fave and vote
